Welcome to Disciply.com
As someone who has worked closely with kids and students in the church, I've seen a troubling trend: today's Christian kids and students are becoming increasingly biblically illiterate. Many are growing up in churches without a clear understanding of the stories and truths that form the foundation of our faith. This is a challenge we cannot ignore, and it's what inspired me to create Disciply.
I wanted to help change this in my own church, so I began developing curriculum for kids and students that walks through the entire Bible in a story format. My vision was simple: ensure that kids hear most of the stories in the Bible over a two-year period. By weaving together the narrative of Scripture, I hoped to give kids a clear and cohesive understanding of God's Word.
We as humans understand and retain information best through stories. That's why every lesson at Disciply is designed to be taught as a short story, incorporating all the details of the Bible passage. Whether it's told or read aloud, these stories make the truths of Scripture come alive.
One of the hidden benefits of this approach is how much the leaders learn as they prepare to teach. Because our material focuses directly on the Bible stories themselves, leaders often find their own understanding and appreciation of Scripture deepening as they guide their students.
Having been a church planter in Utah, an area where churches are few and resources can be scarce, I know how tough it is to afford high-quality materials. I relied on free resources to keep our ministry going, and I wanted to give back to churches in similar situations. Disciply.com is my way of doing that.
Here, you'll find free resources designed to equip your church to disciple its people. My hope is that these materials will empower your leaders, inspire your students, and help you build a church community that is firmly rooted in God's Word.
Thank you for visiting Disciply. Let's work together to raise up a generation that knows and loves the Word of God.
